One of my advertising designs was used for the Multi-Ad AdBuilder Revenues newsletter, Winter 2002, Volume 9 No. 1, featured in the AdBuilder.com January 2003 edition display graphics publication, currently some of my advertising designs are being featured in Multi-Ad's AdBuilder Tips of the Week.

AdBuilder named one of my advertising designs "Best Half-Page Grocery Ad" for their 2003 Tear Sheet Contest.

In April 2005, my composition department received 2-first place and 3-second place awards for advertising at the Georgia Press Association banquet. An ad I designed received first place for Real Estate.

Besides regular religious involvement, I am very active in my children's education and their schools. I served as the Honor Roll Representative at Ambrose Elementary School for two years, PTO Treasurer for two years, and PTO President for two years. Our parent group was awarded a "Honorable Mention" in the 2003 PTOtoday Parent Group of the Year Contest. I believe that there is nothing more important for child's education than parental involvement. Because of that belief, I am a regular volunteer. I assist teachers and staff in making programs, flyers, signs and other print work for the school. I did the layout for the Ambrose Elementary "Eye of the Eagle" newsletter for four years. I have also volunteered at West Coffee Middle School on occasion as a speaker for the Career Connections classes and for field trips.
